According to an extraordinary report in the Daily Mail, Chelsea are still paying former manager Roberto Di Matteo £130,000 per week, or an eye-watering £6.7m per year.
Di Matteo, who won the FA Cup and the Champions League in 2012 after stepping in to replace Andre Villas-Boas, was sacked as Chelsea manager in November of the same year after failing to impress Roman Abramovich with his team’s performances both home and abroad.
However, the Mail reports the Italian was unable to reach an agreement with Chelsea’s owner over a pay-off, and so continues to collect the salary he once earned at Stamford Bridge.
Neil Ashton, the paper’s highly respected football reporter, writes: ”The Italian was unable to reach a settlement with owner Roman Abramovich on his three-year deal when he was fired six months after winning the Champions League as interim boss. ”Di Matteo has already banked almost £7million and will continue to pick up the king-sized salary until June 2014, meaning he is reluctant to take on another job for less money.”

Alhaji Yisa Atiba, an Oyo-based Fuji crooner who is popular for aiding politicians to smuggle large amount of cash outside the shores of Nigeria has been caught.
As at the time of this report, Yisa Atiba is in police detention after he was caught with a huge amount of cash.
The Oyo-based musician who often shuttles between Nigeria and London was unable to provide a valid response when asked on how he came about the undisclosed huge amount of money.
According to London Police investigation, Yisa Atiba is a popular money launderer for top Nigerian politicians.
In 2005, he broke into limelight after the release of his hit ‘Fuji Melody’ album.

Ace Nigerian producer-cum-singer, Sheyman is out with a new single titled “Oluwa Wa”. The song wasSean Keyzy, and is an Afro-Pop hit song.
The new single comes after the success of his previous song, “Paper Remix” which featured Davido. “Oluwa Wa”, the new song is a classic club song, and if given the right promotion, will grow to be a massive fan favorite. It’s a Yoruba song, with lyrics flowing in the native tongue. The producer Sean Keyzy is relatively is relatively unknown, but with hits like this, he won’t be in that state for long.
Sheyman earlier this year, broke off from Trybe Records, the eLDee-led record label. He quickly moved to set up his own imprint (PhatBase Entertainment). Under which he released the ‘Paper Remix’ hit single and shot the official music video.
